BRNO Lions Sign Forward Broc Malyszek

BRNO, Czech Republic — The BRNO Lions are proud to announce the signing of American forward Broc Malyszek for the upcoming season.

Malyszek, a native of Endicott, New York, joins BRNO after playing with the Syracuse Nationals AAA program and the Broome County Bulls High School Varsity team, where he served as team captain.

A dependable two-way player, Malyszek brings a strong work ethic, physical presence, and team-first mentality to the Lions’ forward group. Throughout his career, he has built his game around competing hard every shift, playing a responsible style, and doing whatever is needed to help his team win.

Malyszek also brings leadership experience to BRNO. Being named captain of the Broome County Bulls is an accomplishment he takes pride in, and it reflects the trust placed in him by his coaches and teammates. His ability to lead by example, stay accountable, and bring a positive attitude to the rink will be valuable as he joins the Lions’ locker room.

For BRNO, Malyszek adds another competitive American forward who fits the identity the Lions are building: hard-working, reliable, and committed to development. As he begins his next chapter in Europe, he is looking forward to experiencing a new style of hockey, building relationships with his teammates, and contributing to a successful season in Brno.

The BRNO Lions would like to officially welcome Broc Malyszek to the organization.
