Brno Lions Announce Management Team for 2026–2027 Season

Brno, Czech Republic — The Brno Lions are proud to announce their management team for the 2026–2027 season, marking an important step in the continued development and growth of the organization.

Leading hockey operations is Mike Pomichter, a former Chicago Blackhawks draft pick and longtime professional player. Pomichter brings valuable professional experience and insight that will support both player development and the overall competitive structure of the program.

Veteran amateur coach Frank Ierfino will further strengthen the organization’s recruitment efforts. With extensive connections throughout New England, Ierfino will focus on identifying and attracting high-quality players who may be under the radar of traditional NCAA pathways.

Supporting the organization’s off-ice operations are Mike Brennan, Director of Technology, along with a forthcoming Director of Social Media. Both roles will play integral parts in enhancing the program’s infrastructure, visibility, and communication moving forward.

“This group brings a wealth of experience across all levels of the game,” said EUCHL management. “Their combined backgrounds in scouting, player development, and operations position the Brno Lions to continue building a competitive and sustainable program.”
